Integrated Remote Reactor Physics test Equipment
The Integrated Remote Reactor Physics test Equipment is a subcritical monitoring device during fuel loading and approach to criticality and a reactivity calculation device for Low Power Physics Test, and is operated remotely.
This equipment improves measurement accuracy by suppressing noise from signal lines of off-reactor instrumentation through remote control and parallel signal processing, and reduces perturbations of reactivity in the low current region. In addition, it increases operational convenience by separating the signal measurement device and monitoring device of the off-reactor nuclear instrumentation into the electrical equipment room and the main control room, respectively, and minimizes the need for test space in the main control room
